okay I was walking to the mailbox on augusta towards milwaukee. usually I do this when I am returning the netflix back in the mail early in the morning. usually that way, I don't have to get up early just to catch the mail people pick it up and lose sleep. well anyway, I do this all the time and I think that nothing would have prepared me for what I was about to see. after walking a fourth of the way back to my apartment. in a small parking lot of an apartment building, there was a white couple leaning on a car. when I looked, I couldn't believe it. the guy and woman were naked from head to waist from what I could see making out. they looked drunk somewhat. but my eyes were not deceiving me. I could see everything maybe even more if the other half wasn't blocked by the car. I don't think the guy noticed me walking even though he was facing my direction. I just started laughing. what are the chances of that happening!! too funny. hardly could hold it in. they only come out at night. LOL!!

I have no idea how in the world this happened, but I appeared in my dream in a very cool looking house. it was like the ones you see on TV by celebrities. i was in the kitchen with one of my friends (can't remember who)where Gary Coleman was showing us his large DVD collection. I remember laughing really hard in the dream. I was in full control. that rarely happens. I am totally under control by my dream. but when I appeared in a kitchen with Gary Coleman. I just cracked up. He was really short compared to my height. I know he was getting a little angry that I was laughing, but come on. who would not laugh in a dream where you are having a serious conversation with Gary Coleman. anyone have a similar experience like this?
yesterday I went to one of my co-workers, Christina's party. had fun chatting with other co-workers outside of work. ate and drank a lot of pizza and pop. got to see others get so wasted that it became hysterical. played spades again which I haven't done in awhile. lost 2 out of 3 games. played in a guitar hero tournament to only lose my guy Chris who happened to be drunk and still beat me. I wore one of my anime shirts that had Kyo punching a bear on the front. due to the style of drawing of the bear, one of my co-workers, Beto, thought that the arm looked like a penis, so everyone claimed I was wearing a penis shirt. that got a lot of laughs. took pictures with others. made we wanna get a digital camera now. later went home by 3:30 am and didn't get to bed 'til after 4am. so tired. went to bed to get ready for the my job's outing event. <br /><br /><br />today my job through an outing at Oz Park for the employees. we grilled burgers and hotdogs. also I got to play softball for the 1st time again in I don't know how many years. It was fun when I did hit the ball. I really need more practice. afterwards, just chatted with co-workers. watched a Basketball game later that night that a bunch of my co-workers were playing. all in all, pretty cool.

I was heading home coming back from somewhere and this lady got on the train. due to her position, I couldn't really see her until she sat down across from me and to the left. first glance she seemed like a runner or a jogger. whatever. but then I SAW HER ARMS. this wasn't a man dressed like a woman. IT WAS A WOMAN!!! her arms were chiseled. not huge but chiseled enough to tell that if you got hit by them then you'll be knocked out. obviously I didn't try to look too much. but I was fascinated. this lady fell in-between the gray area of lady and body builder. she was a very cute woman as well. A guess some guys would seem intimidated by that but I was inspired. I want my arms to get chiseled as well. so far, push-ups are starting me off.
I went to an anime convention this past Saturday. this is my third time going to one. it was pretty fun this year. I only waited in line for an hour which was alright. while waiting, I saw one of my favorite customers who comes in to my job from time to time. she was dressed as sasuke from Naruto. chatted a little then left. bought a couple of things. Kenshin wall scroll. the movies Deathnote 1 and 2. A cool anime T-shirt with one of my favorite anime characters doing something funny. (sorry Sarah. can't mention it 'til you see it.) also got a keychain and a plushy (aka stuff toy) for my friend Sarah. <br /><br />Met up with my friend Keidy, Julie, Isaac and introduced to who they were with. Met Ebony, a newbie to anime, who was friends with Keidy. walked around the shopping area taking pictures. Saw the Bleach photo shoot which was funny because two Ichigo cosplayers were quacking jokes the entire time causing everyone to laugh. got to see the famous cosplayer of Jack Sparrow. this guy should be his double. acted and looked like him entirely. <br /> <br />missed the masquerade show, and so continued to walk around taking pictures. a car show was there too with some of them supported anime designs. near the cars was a dj and his table which became a hot spot later on when people starting break dancing, pop & locking, and doing other various things. first time that happened. while walking back to the shop area, saw a trailer one of the vendors was showing a movie with Donnie Yen. this had some cool martial arts scenes which blew me away. He was out of it. it was called Dragon Tiger Gate. so I hurried to another vendor that might have it and got it. <br /><br />then went to a seminar on a discussion about Fullmetal Alchemist. two cosplayers were hosting it and knew a lot about it which included the video games, anime, and manga. it was so interesting hearing fan's theories on some of the plot holes and questionable points in the show. at the end, I decided to start collecting the manga just to see the alternate storyline from the anime. I knew about it already but after the seminar, it made me want to get it right away. however I didn't but will eventually. then i left and went home to watch that dragon tiger gate movie. now on to Wizard World.

taking a page from sarah, I'm writing about two weekend events except they didn't happen yet since they are coming up. one being this Spider-man weekend. Plan 1 is to watch Spiderman 1 on Friday. Spider-man 2 on Saturday. then my best friend Jason is coming in-town to watch Spider-man 3 with me on Sunday. <br />next weekend is the Anime Convention. pretty excited since I can't wait to see some of the fans cosplay. hopefully this time I don't forget a camera so I can take pictures. wanna get there early enough to attend some cool seminars on animes I like and watch some AMVs which I seldom get to see there. It seemed like that Saturday will be a repeat of last year with me attending by myself. too bad for that. got some friends I'll see there but it is always cool to have traveling buddies. One of my co-workers text me earlier in the evening about when it was and decided to come. so I might have one friend to hang out with which is cool if he doesn't have other plans. really trying to watch a lot of other anime before that weekend so I'll recognize more than i use to when I'm there. <br />and just so you know, if you are even a little bit interested in anime. definitely check out the anime convention at rosemont May 11-13. you'll definitely have a good time. later.

    <lj:music>Reign on Us by John P. Kee</lj:music>

okay I got something seriously told to me on Sunday about a friend of mine that got shot. When I talked to her cousin. it seemed real. I called her mom telling her i just heard the news and told me to try and talk to her but somehow the phone cut off. I called back but no one answered. I got worried that she was so down and out about it that she wasn't taking calls. Man, was I extremely gullable (hope that's spelled right). After believing she was shot for two days, I found out the answer which was an April Fool's joke. I knew it was on Sunday but that was going too far because I considered that really serious. but she got me, so I will return the favor somehow.<br /> <br /> Also for something that went too far. I was coming home Thursday night from church on the train. A homeless woman whose had the worst hairstyle I ever seen got on. Usually I don't like to be on the same car with them because they just cause problems for commuters. Usually, I just try to be sleep and they don't bother me. Since it was crowded, she kept going up and down the train brushing against people just to touch them. soon she sat right across from me. these are the seats right next to the doors when you enter that point toward one another. luckily I had someone seating next to me until that commuter got up but another took her place. I was relieved. I really didn't want to get bothered. so I pretended to sleep to ensure that she wouldn't mess with me. after she stopped messing with the teenager with all the energy drinks. she stood in front of me holding the pole. <br /><br /> While trying to be sleep, she surrounded my left leg with her thighs. I moved my leg but she did it again and started caressing my leg with her thigh. I got jokingly mad and told her to "GET OFF ME". she told me just a little bit longer. I yelled at her again to quick humping my leg. then she said that I wanted it before leaving the train. I just laughed. this was nuts. I couldn't believe something like this was happening. the guy across saw it and laughed. I laughed with him. Man, I really hate riding trains at night now. but that was a funny experience. It's gonna be a story told amongst friends for a long time.

I really haven't been writing in this thing. Been kind of busy with other stuff. recently, I started competing in an online film contest called Filmaka.com. it's where any one can do a 1-3 minute film based on the theme presented on the website. it's fun and you can win cash prizes. I submitted for February and was one of the dead last people. but I was excited still since I actually submitted a film that I just recently made and that it got viewed and voted on. I'm trying to do the next one which is due March 27. but scheduling with actors and getting the equipment is hard this time. hopefully I can do it in time. <br /> other than that, saw the movie 300 which is one of the greatest movies to me. once again, it's another movie that every scene was interesting to watch. I wasn't bored once in that movie. great cinematography and art direction and costumes and fight sequences. just overall a great movie. if you haven't seen it, I suggest you do. <br /> Another thing would be youtube video of an Indian guy doing a Michael Jackson Thriller video which is the funniest thing that I have ever seen. won't go into details since it better to see it and it was already mentioned by my friend filmgirl.<br /> also, if you didn't know, I'm into AMVs (anime music videos). the site just put up a new top 10% of the best ones. I was so excited. i checked some out and finally got to see some really good Bleach ones. I'm still checking out more. once again, if you are into it, I suggest you check it out. well until another eventful experience, later.

I was going up some weird looking stairs in a wide staircase. then I thought what if I could phase through the wall like George Reeves did in one of the episodes of the Superman TV show. I tried it and it actually worked. I have this weird feeling while going through the wall. I could tell it was my will power allowing me to do so. Next I flew through the elevator shaft. I have no idea how i got from a stairwell into an elevator shaft. i could feel the rush of flying and tell how fast I was going. It was like a blur. Next somehow I ended up in the elevator and the people on it were wondering why I needed to take the elevator up when I could fly. I was totally clueless and just smiled hoping they would stop looking at me in awe. well that's it. hopefully I have many more Superman dreams to come. and maybe next time I will actually rescue someone.

<lj:music>Joy to the World by Whitney Houston</lj:music>

Okay..kay..okay. since living in Chicago for a couple of years, I never experience anything quite as funny as this. People who sell you things at the most strangest locations. this never happened to me when I lived in Gary, IN. I seen it on TV. one movie being Coming to America. the guy that was selling the toothbrushes and blow dryers out of his coat. but here in Chicago, that happened on the "L". It mostly happens the further south you go on the train. Most of the time, you see kids selling candy for a dollar for the team's outfits so you know that it's going to a good cause. but there are ones who sell the most miscellaneous stuff. One was selling small candy, loose cigs, and body oils. now come on man, what person would want to buy something from someone off a train especially random stuff like that. but I seen people buy things. another time was white socks. I just had to laugh to myself. they try to give you those perfect pitches. telling you that this is the most comfortable sock you'll ever wear. even though you can go to Target or Kmart for the same pair they're holding. <br /><br />but what tops all of that was what happened to me today at a McDonald's on 35th Street. My second mom wanted some McDonald's so I went across the street from the church. while waiting in line, a lady came asking me for some change and I had to tell her no since this wasn't my money. she seemed homeless but had some clean clothes that seemed like she at least lives somewhere in doors. but then she showed me a slightly beat up shoe box with some woman's dress shoes that were beat up as well and ask if I wanted them for $7. I politely declined and laughed to myself after she had left. that was too funny. WOMAN'S SHOES!!! COME ON!! what in the world would I do with those!!! man, Chicago just have surprises around the corner for you. Now, I'm just waiting on the next one to come.

This past Tuesday I went to see the latest WWE movie. this one starred its most famous wrestler of now, John Cena. It was called The Marine. This was your typical flashy action movie to the point that it became funny. I couldn't hold back the laughter. There's a point that action movies can reach and still be considered realistic. I should know. I've been a fan of them all my life. but this one exceeded the envelope to the point that it became ridiculous. at one point, John Cena was getting shot at in a stolen police car. all the bad guys were shooting straight at him non-stop for like 7 minutes and he didn't get one scratch. the car was bullet ridden but still didn't blow up until it went off a cliff. almost everything attached to the car was missing and yet he still got away and survived. he got hit so many times but 2x4s, glasses, fists, and other objects and still didn't show any sign of bleeding or concusions. none of that. he was like invincible. His wife to hits to the face several times throughout the movie and had no bruise or mark on her. I just couldn't hold it in. it was ridiculous. just funny. everyone seemed like cardboard cutouts. they had there quirks but still did things that seemed like it would be out of their character. I could go on and on but I must stop because i can't help but laugh now. so if you are a wrestling fan. I would say at least see it once when the price of admission is cheap. I saw it for $5. sit back, relax and get ready to laugh at a really funny and amusing action film.

Smell...aroma...scent. These are all different words that describe one of the abilities of our five senses. Many times, they can be intoxicating from certain foods or someone's body. but their times when you don't want to smell something because it can be sickening. It may be to some but not others. after living in Chicago for a number of years, I have come across the worst smell ever and that is the dying decaying smell of a homeless person. it is said that such a stench exist and that it comes from someone in poverty. It kind of shows you how wide the spectrum of one's social status is. Of course, we don't want to be around such a smell and we know why but what if you can't escape it. what if the reason for you to accomplish one of your goals that day is to suffer through such a stench. what I'm talking about is the "L". we all go to work, to school, to home and our quickest way is through the train transportation system. there are times when the train is delayed and when it comes, it is crowded. Of course, you don't want to wait. you may be going to work so you want to get there on time, or school for a class, or home to watch a show that is starting in the next 15 minutes. but the only train not entirely filled is the one with the stench. so do you get on and suffer through it or wait for the next one. <br /><br />I got on one that was delayed and ran to one car that had less passengers. after getting on I knew why. but the funny thing about it was that there was no homeless person around. the atoms of their stench were extremely in close proximity of one another bouncing off each other to keep the aroma going way pass the time that the person was in that one spot. of course, there is the reactions of passengers who look for the one causing it and the looks on their faces. many on the train smile and laugh. it's a shame but the reactions of passengers first entering the car is hilarious. there face is trying to fight it but in the end it caves in and shows a look of utter disgust. I laugh myself. fortunately for me, I am able to tolerate it. but almost getting home, I reached the belmont stop and a lot of black teenagers just out from high school were getting ready to board. I knew this would be funny. I ended up laughing before they got on and laughed more when they did. their reactions was too funny. they hunched over laughing and showing their disgust at the same time while jiving on the stench. a lot of the passengers bust out laughing. it's amusing to see that we can find laughter through something so serious as a situation such as that.

<lj:music>none but the sounds from outside</lj:music>

I know it's been awhile but I got a weird one today. I had a dream last night that encompassed an onslaught of different things ranging from video games to movies and u.s. history. First off, it started with a female principal calling me to her office. I think it had to be high school but the first scene was me in her office already. My point of view was from a camera in the top corner of a wall. I could see myself and her. she was telling me about a video game that a student made up that had her office as one of the rooms in full detail. As I looked into the TV, a second later I was in the video game. I left to go outside which had a door leading there from her room. there was a large field of bulky whitish gray gorillas running around. I seen a couple of my friends running for there lives. I seen one gorilla that seem like you could ride on his back so I did to get from getting attacked by the gorillas. It was moving fast as if running in turbo mode or something. <br /><br />Next thing I know I'm on a bus as if it's the Magic School Bus with some of people my age during slavery times. You had people approach the bus. even though we were in the past, they knew what a bus was and wasn't scared of it. I hid and so did the others. when one of the guys came by me, it was obvious that he could see me. I tried covering up myself but to no avail. He left after picking some girl from the back. I got up and asked everyone how did we get here. no one knew. I started to remember something and said it out loud to see if it would ring a bell in their minds. I mentioned if the bus goes about 80 miles per hours, then we could punch through the space time continuum. no one knew what I was talking about. I mentioned Back to the Future. and still no one knew. Man that was a scary thought. so I closed the bus door. and tried to drive but I couldn't get into the seat since it was wedged into the groove of the hole where the pedals were. I turned the wheel and ended up falling into a giant hole that wasn't there before. as we were falling. I punched the gas and hit 80mph and flashes and other stuff just like in Quantum Leap when Sam Beckett leaps into someone else's life. I could see a picture of a movie that I somehow knew as a horror movie. It seem like the fifth installment of I Know What You Did Last Summer starring me. <br /><br />I was in a classroom as a teacher for some high school students that seemed like they were mixed assortment of prisoners in jail in their mid-20s. I asked a question and it started a series of flashbacks of riots at that school. then I woke up in a bed of a house that I owned and felt someone next to me who had on pants and some black boots because that was the only thing I felt but when I turned around no one was there. all of a sudden some handcuffs from the the wall wrap around my hands and neck. I get out of them before they fulled lock and run out the room. that was one of the images I saw on the bus coming through the portal because it was a death scene for a character in that movie. knowing this I was able to escape. I go into a living room to see Jon my actual roommate in reality watching TV. I started to explain some things to him of what happened to me. then I woke up. <br /><br />that was a really crazy dream. did any of you have a dream that was as weird as mine?

<lj:music>Take My Breathe Away by Berlin</lj:music>

Whoaaa!! I see it's been awhile since I wrote in this. I could have some time ago but I was just lazy. well this subject is basically about relationships. You know how there are some people in the world who feel that no one likes them. that they can't get a boyfriend or girlfriend. Everyone has felt like that before one time or another. Have you ever wondered to think why this is? Of course some would say that you just don't try or you just haven't found the right person yet. you're not socialable ( did I spell that right? is that even a word?) Okay. well I was like that. I grew up the smart kid or as you called them the nerd. I wasn't like the guys from revenge of the nerds with short sleeved t-shirts and pocket protectors in my pockets. I was nerdy but yet cool. I grew up with the cool kids so I knew them. of course they were the ones who got dates and ended up with boyfriends and girlfriends. while I sat back in the cut and observed. Of course I felt like nice guys finished last. but that's not the case. If you stop to realize, there is always someone that likes you. you just don't know it. think of the time that you might of liked someone and watched from afar but didn't have the guts to tell them. that person will never know. but what we fail to realize I think is that someone is watching us from afar as well. and if they don't tell us then we don't know. I use to feel bad everytime I was turned downed. it felt like no one liked. but the thing is that maybe I wasn't around the ones that were my type or compatible with. there are some that seem compatible and are like 99% of the person that you want to be with but are never 100%. personally I don't think anyone is 100% the person you are looking for. It's almost like dating the opposite sex of yourself. It's good to have some differences. It kind of mixes things up. <br /><br />now there are others that we want to be with so much but we have to come to realize two things. ONE, it may not be time for those two to be together. Maybe it's suppose to happen later in life. TWO, maybe it's just not meant to be and we need to let go, you know. believe me I know. I'm not just talking out my butt about this. I know it may be hard to do but no one said relationships are easy. also what I did to get over the fact that I wasn't liked, I thought about the ones that did like me even though I didn't like them back. first of all, I think you need to have confidence in yourself and like yourself. comparing yourself to others or trying to be like others is not gonna make a change. being yourself is what matters. so I thought on it and saw that the same thing was happening to them that was happening to me. getting turned down. I started appreciating that fact that i was liked. there was someone that liked me. sometimes we may not realize that. we think about ourselves too much. but thinking on that, I felt better. no one should feel bad. we are all loved. <br /><br />now another thing that bothered me was that people got girlfriend after girlfriend but I was still without one. I thought that was wrong but I thought about it. some people can attract others just like that. maybe it's just there time. we may have certain times in our life when this happens. we have dry spells like living in a desert while others were living in paradise. I know that we don't want to be alone. but sometimes we need be alone in order to accomplish things in life. More single people can do things for there life easier than when they are with someone. It's not that couples can't. it's just that singles have more free time without the added attention needed from a boyfriend or girlfriend. I was in a dry spell for a while and then all of a sudden I had three women liking me. I was shocked. I wanted at least one to like me but three!! Man, that was like a bonus for waiting for so long. <br /><br />well in conclusion. in due time we will find that special someone. we don't need to rush it. It'll happen. sometimes it takes us to be somewhere or do something for that opportunity to come. just think of a video game that gives you a choice of scenarios. you can choose to go this way or another way. one will be probably leave you to meeting up with someone that may like you or you like them and vice versa while the other way prolongs the wait. Still to keep in mind during these slow times that you were liked. It proves that you were special in someone's life. appreciate that because it takes courage to tell someone you like them. you just may give that person the reason to keep on looking for that special someone. so to all those singles out there. just be patient. that feeling of anticipation of finding that special someone is definitely worth it when you do find them.

alright i am a DVD buff. I love watching different kinds of movies whether comedy, drama, action, TV shows, or anime. there was a time when the movies you wanted came out months apart. you wait til a certain date and it arrived. You favorite tv show was finally releasing another season on DVD and you got excited. so you would save up your money for that. I was like that and am like that, but then I thought why don't they come out faster. It's taking too long. well just like that saying be careful what you wish for. so eventually there came a time when a lot of the DVDs I wanted were coming out too close. I didn't have enough money for them all. I had bills rent, tuition, and other things going on. so I had to make a choice. Now it happened again. this week, Grey's Anatomy season 2 came out along with Smallville season 5. Now I love both of these shows but I don't have money to spend on them. well I do but you know you shouldn't. but that's not all. also the entire comic collection of ultimate x-men came on over dvd as well. I have only a couple of them. I wanted that too. also for others who were advent cartoon fans back in the day, Voltron came out as well. I loved Voltron. watched whenever I could. so now, a lot of my childhood cartoons are being released as well. Batman and Batman Beyond. Ducktales and Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers. Darkwing Duck and Tailspin. Animaniacs. it's just too much at one time. I could say that I want them to slow down but then it would go back to release them slowly. so now I'm at a crossroads. I'll just have to get what I can when I can. so good luck to everyone who is having this same problem.

Sometime ago, I was running out of soap. so I needed to go the store to get some more. Usually I get Dove soap bars. I didn't want to spend to much money on soap. so a lot of the Dove brand soap was a little up there in price. the only one I found on sale was the Dove soap that was PINK. Of course I am one of those guys that has issues when dealing with something that seem girlish. (there are some exceptions and one of them would be Fruits Basket for those who know what I mean.) And this time it was pink soap. of course it's cheap and in the range that I was looking for in a Dove soap bar. but since it's pink I was at a crossroads. I stood there for about five minutes thinking whether or not to buy it. finally I realized that no one would know. well until now since I'm typing this event into my livejournal. so there. <lj:music>Serenade from Fruits Basket</lj:music>

The start of this trip was kind of bad. Rain was the first thing to wake me up that morning. It was bad that it was raining until I realize that I will now have to cover myself up and the tripod that I was carrying. with the rain coming down, carrying a suitcase, a bookbag, the camera case, and a tripod covered in garbage bags was even more heavy. It was already a problem seeing where I was going. I made it on the train and got to the amtrak station where I didn't know where to pick up my ticket. from help of a worker, I found it but it had a really short line of people. this still was bad since my train was leaving on seven minutes. Got my ticket but went in the wrong direction to one side of the station then went to the opposite side then got more directions that got me to the right section only for the lady to close the section off preventing anyone else to go through. so I missed my 7:50 am train to Ann Arbor. so I wait until 1 pm to board the next one. <br /> once there, I got to meet the family of the groom. ( oh by the way, this is the marriage of Mark and Jen. Jen is the sister to my roommate, Jon.) also met Jon's family again. His uncle was one that I didn't meet before. He looked like a cross between Jesse Ventura and Steven Seagal. so I considered him to be Steven Seagal the rest of the time I was there. It made me rethink of the movies that guy did. I ate some pizza since I was a little starved. (because I missed the train, I didn't eat again. while waiting I was missing the rehearsal. I was suppose to be there since I was the videographer. This is where they went afterwards.) Next I went home with Jon to his house which was an extremely nice one. 4 bedrooms, i think 3 and a half bathrooms. two floors, an extremely large basement. kitchen, living room, back porch. this place was just too cool. the next day was a lazy day. just played on my CPU and watched TV. that night, Jon's friend, Bethany, made it in for the wedding. the rest of the night we talked while printing up the programs and folding them.<br /> For Saturday, I filmed the bridal party taking pictures in the living room. then it was on to the church. there I talked to the priest about filming. he gave me some restrictions to abide by. this kind of messed up the eye that I had for the ceremony for shooting. so I did the best i could. got helped from the photographer to give me another angle to shoot from but it did seem like i was in the way which I wasn't suppose to. but I got some good shots.<br /> Afterwards, I took more video outside of the church of the bridal party. next, we went to the cocktail party. I filmed inside and outside the house with everyone and also the picture taking of relatives. next we went to the reception which was a nice place. the lights were a little dimmed. I was able to still shoot video and got a lot of the precious moments. next we ate I was excited. I always like to eat. then me and Bethany along with Rachel's boyfriend Justin ( Rachel is the sister to Jon). we teased Jon pretending he had something on his face and played the game simon says while sitting at our tables while he was at the head table. afterwards, the dancing started which caused the lights to be dimmed to the point that I couldn't film. Jen was cool about it and told me to just enjoy myself which I did. Only got in two dances which was the cha cha slide. I never did this before. man did i look retarded. also slow danced with a nice lady a little older than me. I didn't know her and jon didn't either. made small talk while dancing. i really didn't know what to do with slow dancing. I am terrible. it was fun to watch others dance. It looked silly but I couldn't complain. they were still having a good time and that was putting a smile on my face to just watch it. next day I filmed the opening of the presents of the bride and groom. the immediate family from both sides came over for a brunch and the presents. <br /> it was pretty laid back the rest of the day. just cleaned up. got on my computer and watched tv. saw the emmys that night. that was funny. <br />Also throughout the weekend. I got to play with some birds that Jon's parents owned. they weren't parakeets but another kind. they were funny to watch. they were really friendly. that Monday. I got back on the train thanks to Jon driving me there but Jon's driving was too funny. you could tell he hadn't driven in awhile. that happened to me before as well. it was just funny to see his turns. well got home to Chicago to carry all that luggage again in the rain again which cause my arms to be really sore again. they are still sore now but are a lot better. so I have to nurse them some more. and now it's back to work again. it was cool to have a break. but now it's time to make more money again.

I got to see Japese style drum beats which the drummers performed with interesting choreography. Next I saw Kendo students practice some of the moves. afterwards, I toured the stands on the outside that have various artwork and other sovenoirs. next I entered the temple and seen some of the books on calligraphy and orgamy. then some of the weapons. all in all it was a cool experience. Chicago definitely have a diversity of cultural events that go on throughout the year. I suggest you check out some when you get a chance.
